Lusine Kirakosyan

LEZU
New York, 2024

Sound-Visual Design, Projection

Lusine (Lucy) Kirakosyan (She/Her) is a multidisciplinary designer and storyteller whose work blends sound, visuals, and cultural memory. She is interested in the details, the small moments, the hidden patterns, and the way things connect. She values memory and history, believing that everything we create builds on what came before us and shapes what comes next. In her work, she thinks about the experiences people bring with them, their habits, their stories, and their ways of seeing the world. For this show, she will perform with a sound-visual instrument she created (LEZU), an interactive piece that merges image and audio in real time.

Octavio Figueroa

The Light Before
New York,  2024

Custom electronics,  Solar Panels

Octavio Figueroa (he/him) is a Mexican composer and sound artist whose work focuses on the "misuse" of technology.

Blending traditional composition, custom tech, and interactive techniques, Figueroa's performances embrace analog minimalism,  inspired by the humanity embedded in systems typically associated with efficiency and control.

His latest piece "The Light Before" is an exploration of the concept of transduction from light into sound. No tricks, no code, no getting your hands dirty, working directly with the photons. Light becomes sound.
